	Don Robertson
	Five time SARRC (South Atlantic Road Racing Championship) champ Don Robertson has perhaps the most varied and unusual resume of any Brumos U instructor. With the program from the early years of the mid 1980s Don was a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office uniformed officer until 1998 when he retired after 20 years service to take over the reins as General Manager of Gainesville Raceway. While wearing "the blue" Don also created and ran the JSO's Police Pursuit & Emergency Driving School, designed what he calls the "low speed/high stress" law enforcement pursuit school and driving course at UNF. In short he's the man who teaches the instructors how to teach police pursuit training. When he sat behind the big desk at Gainesville Raceway he envisioned the "quickest and fastest" quarter mile as a regional driver training and improvement center. The new driver training center opened in October, 2000 and is already training police, fire fighters and, of course, Brumos Porsche owners on a state of the art facility. Don facilitated the move from Roebling Road Raceway near Savannah to Gainesville allowing Brumos U students to spend more time learning and less time commuting to Brumos U. His concepts and progressing teaching methods have invested Brumos U with a higher frequency training regimen while retaining the low student-to-instructor intimacy that has been a hallmark of Brumos U since 1985.
