Be careful now. When you are comparison shopping the new generation of 911 Turbo be aware that all are not created equal. Make certain that for maximum performance, you select one with the factory supplied Chrono Package Plus option (just like the one on offer here). Why? Good question. You see, according to the Porsche Turbo brochure, when the Sport mode is selected, the engine management system modifies the throttle map, and engine variables are adapted to create a more aggressive level of power response. Under full acceleration, the overboost function temporarily increases (approx. 10 sec.) the available boost pressure by approximately 3 psi. The overboost is applied across the medium rev range, raising the standard 460 lb.-ft. of torque to as much as 505 lb.-ft. Why settle for anything less?
Given the top track speed of 193 mph, you'll want to be able to bring it all to a stop, and quick! With the Ceramic Composite Brakes - PCCB option found here (a $8840 upgrade when new), you'll have all you need to complete the full performance picture.
